Commissioned public artwork, as Architectural Digest recently featured, has been a part of our culture for centuries. This is just one of the eleven “Fascinating Public Sculptures” that I found really intriguing. To view more of these incredible works of art, be sure to visit here. Enjoy!

le voyageur

“Les Voyageurs” by French artist Bruno Catalano, in Marseilles, France. The sculpture is meant to evoke memories and parts of themselves that every traveler inevitably leaves behind when they leave home for a new shore.

I’m Singing The Blues, not in a sad way, but in an inspiring way. Blue is HOT, HOT, HOT, right now… Home Decor and Fashion. I wouldn’t say it is a trendy color, but a classic color that works wonderfully with so many other colors. I love it with Emerald GreenBright Orange. Shocking Pink, Bright Yellow, and Black, to name just a few. Of course, the color Blue, along with Red and White is particularly symbolic this time of year with the 4th of July happening in just a matter of days. Wow, it’s so hard to believe how fast this year is flying by. Nevertheless, I love the color blue no matter what the occasion and thought it would be fun to share some of my blue home decor, fashion and art that I find inspiring which I have curated from Polyvore. Enjoy my Rhapsody In Blue……
