I have always, always, been a huge fan of Blue and White, especially Navy and Indigo. This space and the one above, are simply stunning from the Ralph Lauren “Acacia Grass” wallcovering to the chair pillows in “Les Touches” by Brunswig & Fil.

Entering the foyer, a very traditional table with ball and claw legs, has been topped with fabulous blue and white Chinese ginger jars and a bowl filled with white orchids. The simple navy and white upholstered benches make a nice graphic statement. I would be more than happy to sit down here and kick off my shoes.

A lovely statement in the hallway of Blue and White Delft china plates.

Loving the strong indigo “Haruke Sisal” wallcovering by Schumacher and Stark’s “Hand-hammered Gold Leaf” on the ceiling, all of which is illuminated with a beautiful Baccarat crystal chandelier. Notice how the chairs have been dressed….perfect, dressmaker details. And, I love how this very formal room made use of a sisal rug underfoot as opposed to a more traditional Oriental rug.

The Family Room

Here in the Breakfast Room, the designer surrounded the farm-style table with Restoration Hardware chairs. Hanging above, is a Ralph Lauren nickel and leather chandelier. Benjamin Moore’s “Super White” on the walls.

Master Bedroom. Beautiful fabric on the settee all topped with luscious Indigo velvet pillows.

Master Bath.

Enrichingly yours,

  1. I am completely enamored – every single room is stunning!! Love how they hung the boats on the wall in the library. I can’t even imagine hanging all of the plates on the wall – what a feat!! Hope you’re having a great week, Vickie!

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am with you, can’t even imagine the time and effort in hanging all those plates to create that fabulous “gallery wall”. Hope you’re week is a good one too!
